Travel
Railway
Take a train to the station Hamburg-Dammtor. Leave the train station following the sign "Universität". In front of
the station go to the left following the Edmund-Siemers-Allee. The conference will take
place in the building right hand from the main building.
Car
Highway A1: Take the exit "Veddel" to the highway 255, follow the signs towards Centrum / Messe, to the Edmund-Siemers-Allee.
Highway A7: Take the exit "Hamburg Bahrenfeld" to the B 431
(Von-Sauer-Straße, Bahrenfelder Chaussee, Stresemannstrasse) towards
downtown Hamburg. From the Stresemannstrasse turn left into the
Max-Brauer-Allee, furth on the Altonaer Straße and then on the Kleine Schäferkampsallee. At the next major intersection (Beim Schlump) turn right into the Schröderstiftstraße. Follow this street to the Edmund-Siemers-Allee.
Highway A24: Follow the highway til the end (Hamburg-Horn). Following the roundabout take the second exit which leads into the
Sievekingsallee, continue on the Bürgerweide, right on the Wallstraße (B 75), Wallstraßenbrücke,
Sechslingsforte. Stay right on the Schwanenwik, An der Alster, again right on the Kennedybrücke, Alsterglacis to the Edmund-Siemers-Allee.
Parking facilities
There is hardly any parking space close to the venue location. So arrival by car is not recommended. Please use the public
transportion (www.hvv.de).
Flight
From Hamburg Airport you can either take the Airport Express or the S-Bahn line
S1. Both will take you to Hamburg central train station. From there you can take the
S-Bahn lines 21, 31 or 11 which will go the Dammtor station. Leave the train station following the sign "Universität". In front of
the station go to the left following the Edmund-Siemers-Allee. The conference will take
place in the building right hand from the main building.
